Welcome to Town of Colonie Parks and Recreation Department. Enjoy miles of biking, walking, hiking, jogging or skating trails at The Crossings Park, Colonie Mohawk River Park and Pool or at the Colonie Golf Course.
Based upon the guidelines set forth by New York State caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, effective March 16, 2020, all Town of Colonie Park and Recreation Buildings are closed to the public.
We are not taking any reservations for any of our facilities until further notice. The parks and trails will remain open to the public but we remind you to keep social distancing in mind and to take all the precautions necessary with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
WE HAVE INFORMATION ON:
The Town of Colonie Parks encompasses 850 acres of land for recreational use, with facilities such as the Colonie Mohawk River Park and Pool, Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway, Town Golf Course, 13 Pocket Parks, The Crossings of Colonie Park, Schuyler Flatts, Boght Baseball Complex, the South Colonie Sports Complex, and North Colonie Soccer Complex. The Parks and Recreation Department also offers various programs and special events to the public, including the Summer Enrichment Program, the Summer Playground Program, and Learn-To-Swim. Additional activities include cross-country skiing, fishing contest, Town Band, Memorial Town Band and Town Brass Choir concerts throughout the year.
The Parks and Recreation department office is located within the Colonie Mohawk River Park.
