SNAP Program

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides low income households a monthly allotment of benefits issued through a debit card system for the purchase of food items.

Eligibility is based on income, monthly shelter and medical expenses. You can either apply directly online or in person at our office. Prior to calling our office for an appointment, please review the list of documents that you will need to bring with you to apply. HEAP Program

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) provides a one-time payment that is paid directly to your heat supplier for home owners or renters.

A one-time payment that is paid directly to your heat supplier for home owners or renters. Assistance is usually available mid-November - April every year. Eligibility is based on income.

You can apply online or in person at our office. You will need the following documents for all household members in order to apply in person for this benefit:

  • Driver's license
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of Income - SS award letter, pension/retirement statement, paystubs (4 weeks)
  • Heating/Utility bill (most current)
