The General Services Department is comprised of two divisions: Purchasing and Building Shared Services. Both Divisions provide various services to the other departments within the Town.

Building Shared Services
The Building Shared Services Division has the responsibility to ensure that Town facilities are clean and well maintained. Building Shared Services works to provide clean, safe and pleasing environments for the employees, residents, and visitors to the Town.
The Purchasing Division's mission is to procure the best possible products and services, at the lowest price and best value in compliance with all applicable laws, policies and procedures of the Town and the State of New York. Purchasing administers all bids, quotes, requests for proposals, leases and State Contracts. Over 4000 Purchase Orders are issued annually for goods and services required by the Town.
