Yard Waste Brush Program

See notice below in regards to the commencement dates for Yard Waste Collection. Please check back with this site for any updates.

Notice

Our annual Yard Waste Collection Program will commence on April 22, 2024. Please note: All yard waste must be bundled or placed in biodegradable bags in order to be collected. Our service provider will no longer pick up yard waste from containers or cans.
Due to the damage caused by the recent storm, our crews have been out collecting fallen branches and yard debris. All such items must be out for pick up no later than April 15, 2024.
Please note:

Where a legal holiday falls on a collection day, pick-up for all fire districts may occur on another day during that week.

Yard waste can be delivered to the Colonie Landfill at no charge to residents. Proof of residency is required.
