Welcome to the Colonie Farmers' Market
Farmers’ Market is now accepting SUBSTITUTE vendors for the 2023 season.
The Farmers' Market is sponsored by the Town of Colonie and is managed by the Farmers’ Market Committee which is comprised of town employees. Established in 2008 with only a handful of vendors, the Town’s Farmers’ Market now has 45 vendors (both full-time and substitutes) selling products which range from farm fresh produce to craft spirits and more.
The Town’s Farmers’ Market is part of the New York State Farmers' Market Nutrition Program and accepts WIC and seniors’ farmer’s market checks, which are provided directly to qualifying seniors age 60 and over by the Town’s Senior Resources Department.
Now in its sixteenth season, the Town’s Farmers’ Market has become a true Colonie tradition. We are excited about the growth of our market and the new and returning vendors who make the market such a success. Check out our Vendors section below to find out more see our Farmer's Market flyer.
Every Saturday at the Farmers Market Zero Waste Capital District (composting) will serve as a food scrap drop off site for residents and vendors. The food scraps will be diverted from the landfill and brought to urban farms in Albany where it will be used to enrich local soil for growing healthy, nutrients-dense food.
