Beginning in 2015, the golf permits, including the annual Senior Golf Permits, can be obtained at the Town of Colonie Golf Course. We will no longer be issuing cards as the residency information will be kept on file at the Golf Course. You must be a resident and registered at the golf course to obtain the resident greens fee discounts. Senior Residents (62 or older) must register annually and will be charged a $50 annual fee which will allow access to the more substantial Senior Resident discounts on green fees and golf cart rental. In order to obtain either a Colonie Golf Permit or a Senior Golf Permit you must show at least two (2) forms of ID to prove that you are a resident or property tax payer in the Town of Colonie.

• New York State Driver's License
• NYS DMV Non-Driver's Identification Card
• Current Car Registration
• Mortgage Statement
• Income Tax Return
• Property Tax Bill
• Original Lease Agreement

Unacceptable forms of ID

• Phone Bill
• Veteran's Administration ID
• School Tax Bill
• Any Photocopied form or material

1. Town of Colonie Residents and/or taxpayers must register with the Golf Shop to obtain the discounted resident rates.
2. ALL players must pay their appropriate fees at the Pro Shop, including but not limited to greens fees, range fees and golf carts.
3. No tee-off time can be reserved more than 2 days in advance for residents and no more than 1 day in advance for non- residents. Only one tee-time may be registered for at a time.
4. NO player is allowed to play without wearing a shirt.
5. Only two (2) golfers per golf cart.
6. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to drive golf carts.
8. Each player must have a set of golf clubs
9. NO fivesomes are allowed unless the Pro or authorized personnel's approval is given.
10. NO kegs, cases, bottles or cans of beer or liquor may be brought on the course unless it is approved by the Parks & Recreation Department.
11. Golfers must employ proper golf etiquette and abide by all local and USGA golf rules while playing at this course.
12. NO motor bikes, riding bikes or snowmobiles are allowed on golf course property.
13. Only the Concessionaires may sell or rent merchandise at this facility.
14. If someone uses the I.D. of another person, the owner of the I.D. will lose his card for a 30 day period, and both involved will not be able to play at this course for a 30 day period.
15. Anyone who causes damage to the golf course must pay for the damage and may be excluded from the course for a 30-day period.
16. Carts designed to carry only golf bags, commonly known as "hand carts", (whether operated by battery, engine, or otherwise) are permitted at the Golf Course. However, their use is subject to the approval of the Golf Course Manager, or his designee, who may deny their use if it will adversely affect the safety of the public or the Golf Course.
17. Carts designed to carry persons, commonly known as "golf carts" (whether operated by battery, engine, or otherwise) are not permitted at the Golf Course unless they are owned and maintained by the Town of Colonie. Special exceptions from this rule may be granted by the Golf Course Manager, or his designee, to accommodate a physically handicapped individual whose personal cart is specially equipped for said golfer. However, a special exception may not be granted if it will adversely affect public safety or the Golf Course.
18. Rain checks are not issued. Refunds are given for nines not started due to weather.
