Block Party Permit
A block party permit gives you permission to close one block of your residential street to conduct an event or activity for local residents and it must be approved by the Colonie Police Department.
Block party applications are available in the Town Clerk's office and upon completion will be submitted to the Police department for review. You must complete the application two weeks prior to the event. The application must include:
- time and date of the event
- street on which the party will occur, with cross streets included and the name
- address and telephone number of a responsible contact person
There is no fee for a block party permit.
