I am overwhelming grateful for having been elected to serve on the Colonie Town Board and look forward to tackling the many challenges faced by the Town in order to maintain Colonie as a great place to live, work and raise a family. I pledge to always work to the best of my ability and maintain an open door policy so that I am accessible to the residents of the Town of Colonie.

David R. Green is a lifelong resident of the Town of Colonie and resides in Loudonville with his two children. David is a graduate of Albany Law School (Class of 2001) where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and earned his way onto the Journal of Science and Technology. David is also a proud graduate of Siena College (Class of 1997) where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with high honors.

Today David is an accomplished accountant and attorney having started his own law firm in October of 2008. David has combined his strong financial background with a successful law practice in Estate Planning and Administration, Elder Law, Real Estate, Taxes and Medicaid Planning. Prior to that, David was an associate attorney for 7 years with the law firm of Ainsworth, Sullivan, Tracey, Knauf, Warner & Ruslander, P.C. in Albany, New York.

David and his family are active participants in local activities and routinely participate in community programs. Current and past activities of David’s include, South Colonie girl’s softball coach, Girl Scout troop leader and treasurer, volunteer camp counselor, Greater Loudonville Association board member, volunteer guest judge at Albany Law School, regular worshipper at Christ Our Light in Loudonville, New York.
