Danielle was born and raised in Colonie and recently purchased her first home in the Village with her husband, Michael. A 2010 graduate of Iona College, Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising. Before becoming the Director of the Carondelet Hospitality Center, which is a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Danielle worked in the financial industry for five years.
Currently, as the Director of CHC, Danielle works with many local nonprofits and some throughout the country. With much success in the financial industry, the decision to leave and start a new career path was not an easy one, but Danielle knew working for the Hospitality Center would allow her to give back to her community while creating a living she could be proud of.
In addition to being director, Danielle and her husband, Michael are small business owners. They own a family-run Italian restaurant, Café Calabria. They pride themselves on being one of the few family run restaurants in the area and are thankful they have the opportunity to bring a bit of Calabria, Italy right here to the Capital Region.
When she is not serving her community or serving diners, Danielle enjoys taking day trips, hiking and trying new restaurants. She and Michael look forward to beginning their family in February 2020.
