YES is funded by the Town of Colonie and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

 


The Town of Colonie Youth Services Divison provides a year round Youth Employment Referral Service for Colonie residents, ages 16 -21.

The service assists young people in finding part-time, full-time and seasonal private sector employment. Youth Employment also provides pre-employment skills training programs.


Office Hours:
Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30 PM.  Youth and businesses are free to call at any time and leave a message on the voice mail system.

Eligibility: Colonie residents age 16 - 21.

Services to Registrants: Web-site listings of Private sector jobs, pre-employment skills training for youth referred from the North or South Colonie Central School Districts, information, and referral.

Services to the Community: Job listings for area employers; workshops on employment skills, employer recruitment days, information and referral to area service providers.
