Working in cooperation with the New York State Oral History Program, the Colonie Veterans Project is happy to announce the creation of its Oral History Program. This new endeavor entails either a videotape or audiotape interview of the veteran which will then be archived in the Town’s library for future generations to view.

Veterans interested in participating in the program should complete an Oral History Questionnaire and return it to:

Veterans are also encouraged to gather photographs and memorabilia that can be taped the day of the interview. After the form is received by the Project, a member of the committee will contact the veteran to schedule a date for the interview.
