7:00 Public Hearing in connection with the Town of Colonie 's Community Development Block Grant and HOME Programs.
A) Resolution adopting/not adopting the Town of Colonie 's 2008 Entitlement Action Plan and authorizing the Supervisor to submit said plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and to execute all related documents pertaining to the CDBG, HOME and Section 8 Programs.
7:00 Public Hearing in connection with a proposed local law amending Chapter 181 of the Code of the Town of Colonie - “Vehicle & Traffic Codification” to amend the following schedule thereof: Schedule IX – “No Parking Anytime”.
• Resolution adopting/not adopting a proposed local law amending Chapter 181 of the Code of the Town of Colonie - “Vehicle & Traffic Codification” to amend the following schedule thereof: Schedule IX – “No Parking Anytime”.
7:05 Public Hearing in connection with a proposed local law amending Chapter 97 of the Code of the Town of Colonie, thereof, entitled “Fire Lanes” by amending Chapter 97 for the purpose of amending fire lanes at 1417 Central Avenue, 15 Wolf Road and 17 Wolf Road (Colonie Center).
• Resolution adopting/rejecting a proposed local law amending Chapter 97 of the Code of the Town of Colonie, thereof, entitled “Fire Lanes” by amending Chapter 97 for the purpose of amending fire lanes at 1417 Central Avenue, 15 Wolf Road and 17 Wolf Road (Colonie Center).
• Personnel.
• Resolution authorizing encroachments and accepting hold harmless agreements in connection with various Town of Colonie easement/right of way areas.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute Change Order No. 1 to the agreement with Anjo Construction, Ltd. in connection with the Stormwater Drainage System Yearly Construction & Reconstruction Program.
• Authorizing the Town of Colonie to apply the funds from two grants from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to the general fund or other authorized fund.
• Resolution establishing a Charge-Back Policy for the Town of Colonie .
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute and submit a Joint Application for a Permit with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and US Army Corps of Engineers in connection with the Latham Tank Relocation Project for DPW/Division of Latham Water.
• Resolution authorizing settlement or discontinuance, subject to judicial approval of the same pursuant to §68 of the Town Law, of various tax certiorari proceedings.
• Resolution authorizing the General Services Director to advertise for bids in connection with various goods and services.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with Clough, Harbour & Associates, LLP in connection with the Colonie Solid Waste Management Facility.
• Resolution awarding bid to Complete Packaging & Shipping, Inc. in connection with the purchase of plastic bags for various departments.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to enter into a service agreement with P & M Flooring for carpet installation work at various Town locations.
• Resolution rejecting all proposals received in connection with the Town wide Reassessment Project.
• Resolution authorizing the sale of surplus furniture and further authorizing the Supervisor to execute any documents necessary to facilitate such sale.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute a renewal agreement with Toro National Support Network in connection the maintenance of the irrigation system at the Town of Colonie Golf Course.
• Resolution awarding bids in connection with the purchase of EMS Medical Supplies for the year 2008.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute an Agreement for the Purchase and Sale with the County of Albany in connection with Heritage Park .
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute various applications for the quoting for procurement of and/or renewal of various liability policies for the Town's insurance program throughout the calendar year.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute an Agreement with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP in connection with Public Finance Consulting Counsel Services.
• Resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute an Agreement with Colonie Youth Center, Inc., Town of Colonie Industrial Development Agency and Berkshire Bank in connection with The Rudy Ciccotti Family Recreation Center.
• Resolution requiring the Planning Board to review and consider an open development area at 3 Travis Place .
