Lifeline (PERS) Services
A personal emergency response system installed ori telephone allowing subscriber to communi- cate in an emergency situation without actually having to pick up the telephone. Systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by professionals who have access to the subscriber's medical history and a plan on how to respond to an emergency. Lifeline requires a list of re- sponders: family or friends who live nearby; who can be given a key and can respond quickly in event of emergency. Medication reminders feature, hearing impaired units also available.
