Officer Germaine joined the Colonie Police Department in 1990, after having served in the Communications Division in the Police Department for four years. He is currently assigned to the Community Services Unit. His duties include Crime Prevention, School Safety and being a D.A.R.E. Mentor and Instructor as well as a Child Safety Seat Technician. Officer Germaine also plays the Bagpipes and is a member of the Schenectady Pipe and Drum Band.
