Fleet Management
is responsible for the acquisition, deployment and maintenance of the department
fleet and associated equipment. The Colonie Police Department averages over
one million miles driven annually. When no longer usable for police service,
department vehicles are transferred to other Town of Colonie agencies or
sold at auction.
