What’s New - 2015
Welcome to the 2015 golf season! We are looking forward to another great year playing host to over 30 leagues and 50 golf outings and tournaments in 2014. Once again over 60,000 rounds of golf are expected to be played over our 36 holes this season. The winter snow cover kept our course in great shape and we are due for a fun and exciting golf season.
Martel’s Restaurant is looking forward to their first full season as our food and beverage concessionaire. Martel’s offers great daily and outing menu options, truly enhancing our golfer’s experience.
Spring will also bring a change to our resident pass system. We will no longer be issuing cards for permits as now Colonie Residents and Senior Residents(age 62 and up) will register with the golf course to obtain their Colonie Resident discounts. Resident players just need to bring in their current Resident Permit to be placed in our data base as a Resident. Senior Residents will no longer go to the Town Clerks office to obtain their permits as they will now come to the golf course to register for the season long discounts. The golf shop staff will take pictures of Residents, and ask for a driver’s license to verify age and residency for Resident Seniors. Resident golfers will only need to supply their name to make tee times and obtain Colonie Resident discounts.
It will be an enjoyable golf season at Colonie Town Golf Course. We are looking forward to seeing everyone out here having a great time playing in their league, outing, or just coming out to tee it up with friends and family.
