Welcome to the 2013 golf season! It is great to be past the dark and cold months of Winter and headed into another year of great golf here at Colonie Town Golf Course. The new season brings plenty of exciting changes and upgrades to the Colonie Town Golf Course facilities.
To begin, the month of March will be a busy one as an updated heating and air conditioning system is installed in the clubhouse. April will mark the return of Beff’s restaurant to the golf course as they begin their first full season as our food and beverage providers. The new air conditioning system in the clubhouse will further enhance the Beff’s experience, providing more comfort to go along with the already great food and drink during the hot summer months.
Spring will also bring the delivery of 74 new EZGO golf cars which will be a welcome addition to the fleet. These cars are equipped with the latest in golf car technology, including an electro-magnetic braking system, as well as employing a more efficient AC drive motor, saving electricity and the environment.
Two more projects include the updating of the clubhouse bathrooms during the fall of 2013 and the addition of on-course restrooms to the White and Green nines, slated to be ready for use before the end of the 2013 golf season.
These upgrades to the facility, as well as our continuing on-course drainage projects, should set the stage for an exciting and enjoyable golf season at Colonie Town Golf Course.
