NEW! MY FAVORITE THINGS
What’s your favorite thing to collect? Maybe it’s toy horses, or dinosaurs, or bears, whatever it may be, we’d love to showcase your collection! Schedule a time with us at the Youth Services Desk.

Nursery School Fair
Saturday, January 23 from 10:00 AM-Noon
Parents of toddlers and preschoolers are invited to meet representatives of preschools in the Capital District. It's the perfect opportunity for you to preview what's available, all in one place at one time! The Fair will be held in the Stedman Room. Open to adults only. Please register in Youth Services at any time. Walk-ins are welcome, too!

THANKS EVERYONE! Holiday Bountiful Basket & Mitten Tree
We appreciate the generosity of all our patrons who donated food for our Holiday Basket! We brought it to a local pantry to help families in need. And thank you to all of you who donated mittens, hats, and scarves for our Mitten Tree! These items went to the children of St. Catherine's Center in Albany, just in time as the cold weather set in.

COLONIE HIGH KEY CLUB VOLUNTEERS
Youth Services is fortunate to have a dedicated core of teen volunteers to help us with our youth programs. We truly appreciate their time & efforts!

OUR ROOM IS REARRANGED!
You may have noticed some exciting changes in Youth Services. We have relocated several collections to make it easier for our readers to find their favorites! We've expanded the DVD section, intergraded paperbacks with hardcovers, and shifted more series to one spot. We hope you find it helpful!

3 APPLES AWARD
And the award goes to… help us decide! The 3 Apples Award is given to the books most loved by young readers in New York State. Kids nominate their favorites, and then vote for the winners! Pick up a copy of the booklist this winter & watch for the vote in the spring.

Bethlehem High School art teacher George Dirolf selected our winners from two age groups, 6-9 years and 10-14 years.
