from the Permanent Collection The Print Club of Albany, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1933. Since that time it has been a leader in the print field. It sponsors lectures, exhibitions, a newsletter, programs and an annual commision of a print for its members. The membership of the club is international. Each active member receives a print by a nationally recognized artist as part membership. Since its founding, the Club has collected prints for exhibitions and study. The collection covers all periods, styles, and includes artists who worked in many media. The collection has grown by donations, purchases, commissions, and exchange membership in other print clubs. The donations have come from artists, art dealers, and collectors. the Club is very grateful to these donors. The collection, one of the largest print collections in Upstate New York, now numbers over 15,000 and continues to grow. For
