1. Expansion of the MVWTP

Expansion of the MVWTP up to a 31.5 MGD capacity. This project is underway with the constrution phase nearly complete. As required by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, fish protection studies were performed: at the same time, the preliminary design phase (preliminary drawings, pilot testing, lagoon modifications, etc.) have been completed. Construction began in May 2003 and only punchlist work remains.

Anticipated Completion: April 2006

Estimated Cost: $24,220,000.00

2. 16" Albany Street Transmission Main

The installation of approximately 6,450 feet of 16-inch water main from the existing 16" main at the intersection of Albany Street and Morris Road to the intersection of Albany Street and Cordell Road.
