The original seniors group was held at St. Francis de Sales Church on Exchange Street in West Albany and consisted of approximately 30 members. It was decided that the club be moved to its current home, the new St. Francis de Sales Church located on Maria Drive.
Meetings are held every Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Membership is approximately 400 members. You are encouraged by current club members to join and have a good time. Social activities are very active with wonderful trips offered by their tour directors Carol O'Neil, Sandra McCullough, and Joan Kurtzner. Speakers come and discuss different topics and programs that are relevant to our seniors. Other social activities held are the Installation Luncheon in January, Easter Luncheon and Parade in April, Picnic in June, Anniversary Party in September, Halloween Costume Party and Luncheon in October, Mass and Luncheon for Departed Members in November and our Christmas Party in December. We also have Bingo and Cards. You are invited to come and join the St. Francis de Sales Senior Citizens Club. Bring a friend and have a good time making new friends every Monday.
