Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit organization, that is one of the largest providers of programs and services for seniors in the Capital Region. With a mission to help seniors maintain their independence and self-reliance, to enhance their quality of life, CSSC focuses on providing these innovative and effective programs: Bright Horizons Social Centers, Senior Dining & Programs, Preventive Health & Wellness, Life-Long Learning Opportunities, Volunteer Opportunities, Transportation, and Housing options.

CSSC is committed to bringing these programs and services out into the community to "serve seniors where seniors meet," continually seeking out new sites to reach more seniors. Volunteers of all ages are a driving force behind Colonie Senior Service Centers, helping to deliver these quality programs to seniors. Individuals and businesses from the community are encouraged to participate as volunteers, and are always welcomed with open arms. The efforts of these volunteers, working together with a dedicated, hardworking staff, help not only to meet the needs of the senior community but strengthens the entire community.
