Stimulus Funding Update - Ending 10/31/11
The Town of Colonie was awarded $661,900.00 in Federal Stimulus money as part of the Federal Recovery Act passed in 2009. These funds combined with Town funds totaling $338,125.00 were used to replace a boiler at the Colonie Community Center and replace the four heating and air conditioning roof top units at the William K. Sanford Town Library. As part of our pledge to keep Town Residents informed of the progress on this project you will see an update each quarter on the project and the savings the Town has achieved.
Savings:
The Town has realized the following savings to date:
Energy Dollars Saved – $24,926.00 Project to date
Electric kWh Saved – 133,912 Project to date
Natural Gas Therms saved – 2,275 Project to date
Green House Gas Emissions Reductions – Project to date – 54.8 Tons
