ANNUAL FLUSHING
The Latham Water District will begin its yearly flushing of the water system on Monday, March 24, 2008 and conclude on May 22, 2008. PLEASE NOTE: during the week of March 24 thru 28, the flushing will be performed during the day between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Beginning Sunday, March 30 flushing of hydrants will be performed in the evening between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Residents may notice discoloration of their water while we are flushing the hydrants. This is normal and it is not harmful. However, we would caution residents to check their water before using washing machines or other appliances that use water. If discoloration persists, please notify the Latham Water District at 783-2750.
