Officer Gregory L. Jensen
Officer Jensen joined the Colonie Police Department in January 1974 as a Dispatcher and in 1979 became a Police Officer. He is currently assigned to the Community Services Unit where he has been a DARE instructor since 1992. He is also a New York State Certified Crime Prevention Specialist. During his tenure, Officer Jensen has worked in the Patrol Division, Juvenile Unit and has also served in Internal Affairs.
Departmental Awards: 3 Life Saving Awards and 1 Command Recognition Award
Hobbies: Time with daughters, Swimming, travel, movies,and computers
