FALL STORYTIMES
Storytimes
will be held from September 29 - November 14, 2008.
Registration begins Saturday, September 20, 2008 in Youth Services.
TODDLERTIME
Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 9:30 & 10:30 AM
A 45-minute program for children up to 36 months and their parents
/ caregivers. We offer educational toys and manipulatives during free
play; then books, songs, puppets, and fingerplays during a short storytime.
Each caregiver should plan to make this a special time with his/her
child and make other arrangements for older siblings. We offer a program
for older siblings ages 3 and up, called "On My Own," at
the same time as Toddlertime. Registration begins on Saturday, September
20. Registration is in person only; sorry, no phone registrations.
Toddlertime will be held in the Stedman Room.
ON MY OWN STORYTIME
Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 9:30 & 10:30 AM
A 30-minute program for children ages 3 years and older who are ready
to attend "On My Own." Stories, songs, flannel boards and
fingerplays will be featured, and occasionally, we will make a craft
to take home. Children who have siblings in the Toddlertime program
will be brought into Toddlertime to join their parent or caregiver
there. Registration begins on Saturday, September 20. Registration
is in person only; sorry, no phone registrations. On My Own Storytime
will be held in the Activity Room in Youth Services.
TREEHOUSE CLUB
Wednesday at 4:00 PM
Treehouse Club is an after-school club for children in grades 1-4
who love a good story. This 45-minute program will feature stories,
crafts, games, and an occasional snack. Registration begins on Saturday,
September 20. Registration is in person only; sorry, no phone registrations.
Treehouse Club will be held in the Stedman Room.
Special Spooky Treehouse
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 4:00 PM
This will be a special Treehouse for those registered and for those
who wish to register for this session only. Put on your costume and
come to the library for a haunted house, spooky stories, and scary
crafts! Anyone already registered for Treehouse this fall will automatically
be eligible for the Special Spooky Treehouse. If you want to register
for this session only, registration will begin on Wednesday, October
1 for those in grades 1-4. Registration is in person only; sorry,
no phone registrations. Special Spooky Treehouse will be held in the
Stedman Room.
FAMILY DROP-IN STORYTIME
Mondays 10:00 AM
Tuesdays 1:30 PM
Wednesdays at 1:30 & 6:30 PM
Thursdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM
Family drop-in storytime is an open program for all ages, where you
do not need to register. You may come every week or just once, and
you may bring the whole family. Parents/caregivers are expected to
remain with the children to enjoy the storytime together. Family Drop-In
Storytime is a 45-minute program featuring stories, songs, poems,
flannel board stories, crafts and an occasional snack. It will be
held in the Stedman Room. No registration necessary.
