Coffee House & Open Mic
Three to four times a year, we hold an after hours coffee house and open mic program for high school students. Typically between 50 & 150 teens attend the program. Performances are varied and range from live music, to poetry, dance and comedy.

Teen Advisory Group
This group meets monthly and members are responsible for planning and running various teens events during the year. In the past, the group has hosted the Teen Coffee House programs, the Battle of the Bands, the Student Film Festival, and have hosted book sales to raise money for the Teen Room. The group also represents the library at various functions in the community such as KidsFest, Relay for Life and the RiverFest.

Art Gallery Committee
This group meets weekly and each meeting is different. Projects have included everything from helping to choose and set up shows for the GotArt? Gallery which is located just outside the Teen Room, hosting trips to local museums and galleries, and creating a podcasting program to creating a "peep" show from marshmallow peeps.

Anime Club

This group meets once a month on Friday evenings to view anime, and to discuss manga. They are the first to see and check out the new manga and anime added to the collection and make suggestions for additions to the collection. At each meeting you'll also be able to participate in DDR, drawing contests, and enjoy snacks. The group will occasionally attend anime conventions together as well.
