1895 New York Atlas - http://www.livgenmi.com/1895/NY- County maps of NY state as of 1895, includes lists of cities, towns, with name, population, where located in the state, post office, railroad station or express office.

The American Family Immigration History Center http://www.ellisislandrecords.org
is now available on-line. It uses state of the art computer technology to bring Immigrant arrival records from 1892-1924 to one's fingertips. For a nominal fee, visitors can receive a printout of their family's data, plus a picture of the ship on which they arrived. However, the site is difficult to access, because of the number of people trying to access it.

Includes approximately 4,000 databases including U.S. Federal Census, the Map Center containing more than 1,000 historical maps; American Genealogical Biographical Index (over 200 volumes); and Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage (over 150 volumes). Note: This can only be used within the Library.

Books we own Books We Own Books we own is a list of resources owned/accessed by individuals who are willing go look up genealogical information and e-mail or snail mail it to others who request it. This is a free service - volunteers may ask for reimbursement of copies and postage if information is provided via snail-mail.
